Terms of Service

1. The service

Opsis is a safety net for builders who ship fast, built on top of PostHog session replay. After you connect your PostHog project with OAuth, Opsis imports recent session replays, detects signals of broken flows (rage and dead clicks, console errors, network failures, checkout abandonment), analyzes them with AI, verifies findings with Playwright in a real browser (video, trace, screenshots, console and network logs), and produces reports with copy-paste-ready fix prompts.

2. Connecting PostHog

Connecting PostHog uses OAuth with minimal read-only scopes. Opsis never asks for your PostHog API keys. You can disconnect at any time from the dashboard, which revokes our access with PostHog (best-effort) and deletes the tokens we hold. Session imports run when you connect a project or when you trigger an import from the dashboard.

3. Your responsibilities

• You own the connected app and PostHog project, or have the owner's permission to connect them to Opsis.
• You ensure your app has a legal basis for recording analytics and session replays (consent banner, privacy policy) under the data protection laws that apply to you and your users.
• Playwright verification runs interact with your app the way a single real user would — clicking, navigating, and submitting forms on the URLs involved in a finding. If you do not want verification traffic on production, point Opsis at a staging environment.

4. Acceptable use

• Only connect PostHog projects and apps you are authorized to analyze.
• Do not use Opsis to probe, load-test, or attack systems you do not control, or to circumvent another service's security or terms.
• Do not attempt to access other customers' data or to interfere with the operation of the service.

5. Early access

Opsis is currently in early access and is free to use. During early access, features may change, be added, or be removed, and we do not yet offer a service-level agreement or uptime guarantee. We will communicate clearly before introducing any paid plans — you will never be charged without explicitly agreeing to pricing first.

6. Your data and our reports

Your session data, findings, reports, and verification artifacts remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

• Opsis provides evidence-based findings and recommendations, but does not guarantee that every bug will be found or that findings are free of error.
• Fix prompts are suggestions. Applying them to your codebase is your decision and your responsibility — review and test changes before deploying.
• Opsis does not modify your app and has no write access to your code or your PostHog project.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opsis is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. During free early access, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, which is zero.

8. Termination

You may stop using Opsis and disconnect PostHog at any time. You can request deletion of your workspace data by emailing admin@heyopsis.com. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Opsis operates. Where mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection laws apply to you, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under them.
